Hailing from Hong Kong and Shanghai, Pearl AuYeung (Ow-Yerng) is now based in Los Angeles, working as a toy designer at Mattel Inc. and also as a debuting children’s book author-illustrator.
Her works centre on emotion, childhood memories, and humor —At least, she thinks she’s funny. In mediums that invite all ages and backgrounds, Pearl strives to tell compelling narratives to a global audience, celebrate joy and share what she deeply cares about.
